The automobiles are introducing new features and offering to hold and attract their customers. Now Jaguar Land Rover offers users crypto to share their driving data to pay for coffee and parking. Jaguar Land Rover drivers may soon be able to earn crypto currency for allowing their cars to transmit data about traffic and other driving issue.
The new smart wallet system is currently being used at Jaguar Land Rover’s new software hub in Shannon, Republic of Ireland.

The company is introducing “smart wallet” technology, the crypto-currency earnings can then be redeemed to buy coffee or to pay tolls, parking fees and electric charging on the move, the company said. Wallets can also be topped up using conventional payment methods.
The models include the Jaguar F-PACE and Range Rover Velar; they have been configured to automatically report information about road conditions. If the system is applied, drivers would not have the option not to share this data, but the company is clearly hoping they will, given that they’re incentivizing it with digital tokens.
This would then be transmitted to the appropriate city authorities. For instance, cars could communicate if a tree was blocking a road or a car accident had occurred, as well as providing more accurate localized weather reports. Jaguar said that its cars would be equipped with internet of things sensors to provide data via IOTA’s “Tangle” distributed ledger, including messages.
Jaguar says that the company is aiming to “achieve zero emissions, zero accidents, and zero congestion.” And later the entire new car will be equipped with this latest smart wallet technology. While summarizing the details, the shared data would help to eliminate congestion and idle emissions by informing sat navigational systems about areas to avoid, and also by using your car as a kind of giant credit card as you pass through toll gates.
